Arendal International School (AIS) is currently recruiting for the following positions, starting in August 2025:

• PYP Homeroom Teacher
• MYP Coordinator
• PYP Coordinator

AIS is an authorised International Baccalaureate (IB) World School located on Norway’s southern coast. We offer the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Middle Years Programme (MYP) to a diverse student body of over 220 students from around the world. What we’re looking for

We are seeking experienced, committed, and collaborative educators who are passionate about international education and student-centred learning. IB experience is required for the coordinator roles and strongly preferred for teaching positions.

Candidates must have:
Teaching qualifications recognised in Norway or transferable from another country
Proven classroom experience, ideally in an IB school
Strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and the IB Learner Profile
Fluency in English (the language of instruction)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

For coordinator roles, we also expect:
Demonstrated leadership skills and experience within an IB context
A thorough understanding of the relevant IB programme framework
The ability to lead programme implementation, support teachers, and contribute to whole-school development
