The British International Schools of Stavanger (BISS) is a not-for-profit organisation made up of three schools: BISS Gausel, BISS Sentrum, and BISS Preschool. Across our campuses, we offer high-quality, English-medium education with a strong focus on international-mindedness and inquiry-based learning.

As IB World Schools, both BISS Gausel and BISS Sentrum offer the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Middle Years Programme (MYP). Our approach to education is shaped by the IB philosophy, with a commitment to developing knowledgeable, caring and globally aware students.

We are always looking to connect with qualified educators and support staff who share our values and are eager to contribute to a collaborative, internationally oriented school environment.

We welcome open applications from individuals who:

• have recognised qualifications for teaching or educational support roles
• are fluent in English (our language of instruction)
• are committed to student well-being, learning and development
• have experience with or a strong interest in the IB programmes and philosophy
• thrive in a diverse, inclusive and inquiry-based setting
• Experience with the IB PYP or MYP is an advantage but not a requirement for all roles.
