Haugesund International School (HIS) is an authorised IB World School offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Middle Years Programme (MYP). We are a not-for-profit school located on the west coast of Norway, providing high-quality, English-medium education to a diverse international community.

Our educational approach is grounded in the philosophy of the International Baccalaureate, with a strong focus on inquiry-based learning, international-mindedness, and the development of knowledgeable, caring and principled young people.

We welcome open applications from individuals who:

• hold recognised qualifications for teaching or educational support roles
• are fluent in English, the language of instruction at HIS
• are committed to student-centred learning and inclusive education
• have experience with or a strong interest in the IB programmes and mission
• value collaboration, inquiry and diversity in the school environment

Previous experience with the PYP or MYP is an advantage, but not a requirement for all roles.
