Risør Hotel is hiring chefs for the summer season
Risør Hotel is beautifully located on the waterfront in the charming wooden town of Risør, Southern Norway. Our hotel has 32 rooms and several apartments, a large outdoor restaurant with a stunning sea view, a bar, and facilities for events and meetings. We are open all year round, but the summer season is our busiest period, and we are now looking to expand our team for the upcoming season.
We have a friendly and dedicated staff who believe in teamwork, as we achieve the best results together. In addition to the hotel, we also operate Stangholmen Lighthouse Restaurant, located on its own island. This is arguably one of Norway’s most spectacular summer destinations. Known for our famous fish soup, Stangholmen offers high-quality dining in a lively atmosphere, featuring a restaurant, tavern, bar, and a large outdoor stage with live concerts throughout the summer.
We offer affordable staff housing for our employees.
We have two available positions as chefs/cooks for the upcoming summer season:
Employment Period:
Starting in early/mid-June until the end of August 2024
Qualifications:
- Relevant education as a chef is preferred, but experience is the most important factor.
- Chefs must be able to prepare both breakfast buffet and à la carte dishes.
