System Power Engineer
As a System Power Engineer at SEAM, you will focus on the overall functionality and interaction between the boat's various systems. You will work on and plan concept design before sales and participate in project work with a particular focus on product integration.
Many of our projects involve a high degree of customer customization of product deliveries. This provides you as a system engineer with new challenges and a varied workday.

Summary of Job Responsibilities
- Work on concept development and technical support towards sales.
- Participate at the system level in projects where the focus is on product integration.
- Overall view of functionality and interaction between systems.
- Contribute with maritime expertise to ensure the boat functions as intended and meets various maritime customer and class requirements.
- Develop system philosophies.
- Provide input for product improvements.
Qualifications
- Master's degree (MSc) or Bachelor's degree (BSc) in electrical power. Exceptions can be made for the right candidate.
- Very good understanding of maritime electrical systems.
- Experience with systems involving various green energy sources such as batteries and hydrogen is an advantage.
- Good understanding of the functionality of drives, energy conversion, Energy- and Power Management Systems (EPMS), and other key elements in the vessel's systems.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical power or significant experience as an electrician with maritime experience.
- Experience from the maritime industry and knowledge of class rules is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Drives, Power Management Systems, Propulsion Systems is desirable but not required as training will be provided.
