Sølvgarden Hotel & Feriesenter is located in the heart of Agder County, Southern Norway – strategically positioned in Setesdal where the roads between east and west (Oslo – Stavanger) and north and south (Kristiansand – Bergen) intersect. The hotel is family-run by the Rysstad family, who also operate their own silver workshop adjacent to the hotel.
Sølvgarden Hotel looks like a small fairytale castle. A combination of traditional Setesdal culture and modern facilities creates a unique interior with beautiful decorations. The hotel has 23 rooms, including a stunning tower suite, spread over three floors.
Sølvgarden Hotel & Feriesenter is situated by the Otra River, where guests can fish, swim, and paddle. We offer rentals of canoes, boats/pedal boats, and bicycles. The surrounding nature is perfect for those who enjoy hiking in the forests and mountains. Within a one-hour drive, you can find activities such as rafting, climbing, an activity park, motorcycle touring, Via Ferrata, museums, a mineral park, and silversmith workshops. In winter, activities such as ice climbing, alpine skiing, and excellent cross-country skiing trails are available.
Sølvgarden Hotel & Feriesenter is Hiring Waiters and Bartenders for the Summer Season
We have four available positions:
- 100% position from approximately May 20th – September 1st
- 100% position from June 1st – October 1st
- 100% position from June 20th – August 15th
- 100% position from July 1st – October 1st
Job Responsibilities:
- As a waiter, you will take orders, serve food, and ensure that every guest has a great experience.
- As a bartender/waiter, you will provide drink recommendations, take orders, and mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- You will also restock supplies, keep the bar clean and organized, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere.
- The restaurant is open from 12:00 to 21:00 every day during the summer season.
Qualifications:
- A strong service mindset and good teamwork skills.
- Experience in a restaurant or bar is preferred.
- Applicants must be 18 years or older.
- Must be able to communicate in at least one Scandinavian language in addition to English.
The employer can assist in finding accommodation near the hotel.
