Through the Southwest Norway initiative, a collaboration between counties, public healthcare providers, business associations and NAV EURES, we are recruiting doctors and nurses for public hospitals and municipalities in the regions of Agder and Rogaland in the southwest of Norway.
Our recruitment service is a public initiative and free of charge for both candidates and employers.

Requirements
For doctors:
- Medical education from an EU/EEA country (automatically recognised in Norway). Medical education from outside EU/EEA may also be considered, but may not be recognised in Norway and authorisation may be difficult to obtain
- Norwegian authorisation must be obtained before starting work
- The working language is Norwegian (language courses are available before arrival)
For nurses:
- Nursing education from an EU/EEA country (qualifications recognised in Norway)
- No Norwegian language skills are required at the application stage
- Norwegian level B1 or B2 (depending on the position) must be achieved before starting work. Language training support will be provided
